So my moms got spurs and chronic back pain of course the doctors just write her a script of some meds and we all know that is just a addictive band aid id really like to convert her over to somthing not harmful but also helpful, thus why im curious on CBDs would work for her best they def need to be strong and effective due to the pain she dose suffer, i noticed that you mentioned the same issues do you mind telling me which works best for you or even with my description of my moms issues what you think may work best for her thanks so much looking forward to hearing somthing back!
When Jillian came home for Christmas she and my husband, decided it was time for me to make a decision to do something. I wasn’t ready to decide anything just yet. I wanted to have Christmas with my family. The day after Christmas I made up my mind to drive out to California to investigate cannabis oil as a treatment. We read articles about successful brain tumor results in Spain and Amsterdam and gathered information wherever we could. We decided to give the cannabis oil a try, especially after we read a paper on a study about the chemotherapy my doctor had recommended. That study suggested patients with tumors like mine appeared to get better at first with the chemo but then the left over tumor cells would mutate and turn aggressive over time.
I have not read all 220+ comments, so perhaps this issue was raised, but I have read in multiple sources that hemp plants and marijuana plants are not the same. Various sites claim that this issue is confusing consumers and they state that (industrial) hemp plants tend to be low CBD and lack the full spectrum of cannabanoids, terpenes and other chemicals. They caution consumers to purchase only CBDs derived from female flowered marijuana plants if they want the full health benefits. They also state that CBDs in isolation do not work as well as when they are coupled with THC and other cannabinoids and terpenes. (Nature always knows best.) Your product is derived from industrial hemp plants according to BioCBD’s website. You have addressed the issue of the female flowers (thank you), but I am still very confused about this issue. Can you clarify? Thank you. P.S. I, personally, won’t be able to use your product because I am sadly allergic to turmeric, but I appreciate the information you have presented here. I will have to wait for another company to manufacture a water soluble product with a different carrier.

I was actually wanting to know about dosage for cancer as well..My parents both have recently been diagnosed with cancer 4 months apart and are currently going thru chemo together. In order to manage pain, we recommend ingesting full spectrum CBD oil daily in the form of Tinctures or Gel Capsules. The ingredients in the two products are the same; the only difference between the two is the form factor and dosage – pills vs. sublingual tinctures. We suggest those suffering from any kind of pain start with 5-10mg per day of CBD. If relief is not felt at this dosage, we suggest increasing by 5-10mg until the desired effects are achieved. You’ll notice that the Gel Capsules are pre-filled and contain 25mg of CBD per pill – there is no harm in starting at 25mg CBD daily as you cannot overdose on CBD nor are there any serious side effects. These ingestible products provide sustained relief for several hours – many people find they provide relief for the whole day! The one thing to keep in mind with ingestible CBD products is the delayed onset time – it can take up to 90 minutes for the full effects of the tinctures or capsules to be felt.
I have/had ovarian/primary peritoneal cancer. I used thc/cbd oil pills I self made from the start. I am supposedly their “poster child”. I went thru with chemo and surgery. Oh that horror! But when I tried to tell two seperate doctors, the surgeon was all about it, and my oncologist threw a fit and said it was an anecdote. There are more than 100 studies at the NIH govt website.
I am not sure if anyone will be able to give you concrete advise online, as it depends on the state of your condition. Generally speaking the lower mg bottles probably won’t be as effective for arthritis, as they are more effective for anxiety and acute pain. When choosing an oil for any condition, it’s important to understand the state of your condition and your general health. It’s always best to speak to your primary doctor before you take any form of medication but if you do wish to try it, then start with a low dosage and work your way up – until you find what works for you. Hope that helps.
The appeal? Proponents claim CBD can help ease pain, anxiety, depression and stress, boost focus and productivity, improve the immune system, reduce inflammation and more. And – unlike its psychoactive cousin THC – CBD, they say, is harmless, legal and can't get you high. "The known is it's good for you, it helps a lot of people and a lot of things, and you can't hurt yourself," says Phil Asquith, a farmer and producer of extra-virgin olive oil in California, who founded one of the first companies in the CBD space. "The unknown is all the details."
I have idiopathic peripheral neuropathy ... the only thing they found that would work is lyrica. I picked up some CBD oil yesterday morning. I am prescribed to take 75 mg of lyrica 3x per day. I took one yesterday morning and have only used the CBD oil since. I bought the Koi brand, flavored, 250 MG. I used a full dropper yesterday late morning and a full dropper yesterday late afternoon. I used it once today (one full dropper) and I am amazingly pain free.

Truth be told, one of the biggest draws to using CBD oil for pain has been the fact that it has little distinguishable side-effects or contraindications with other medications. In fact, in a massive report that was published by the World Health Organization during last year’s 2017 Expert Committee on Drug Dependence, it was (finally) declared to the world that CBD is a “safe, well tolerated [compound, which] is not associated with any significant adverse public health effects.”
In his office, however, Hernandez was wary of the CBD boom. He advises well-meaning parents to think twice about voyaging into the world of over-the-counter hemp oil treatments, even if their circumstances are dire. “It’s a huge gimmick that a lot of companies are using,” Hernandez said. “You don’t know what you’re getting. ... There’s a major quality problem.”
Cons: To be effective, products probably need to have a lot of CBD—which can make them expensive, Backes says. For example, Hemp Garden in Manhattan sells a topical called Full Spectrum that has 500 mg of CBD per 4 ounces for $50. Another company, PlusCBD Oil, sells its Extra Strength topical in a smaller but still concentrated dose of 1.3 ounces that contains 100 mg of CBD for $52. The company sells a less concentrated version for $32.
By popular demand, we have also begun to carry several, high quality CBD pet products as well. For general purpose applications, we carry several, tasty tincture and oral spray options that are highly effective. Likewise, Pharma CBD capsules provide CBD purity via capsular ingestion. In addition, we have partnered with Therabis, the quality CBD maker of “Stop the Itch” and “Calm and Quiet”, the pet lovers’ ultimate go-to’s. Cannabinoids may offer significant “side benefits” beyond analgesia. These include anti-emetic effects, well established with THC, but additionally demonstrated for CBD (Pertwee 2005), the ability of THC and CBD to produce apoptosis in malignant cells and inhibit cancer-induced angiogenesis (Kogan 2005; Ligresti et al 2006), as well as the neuroprotective antioxidant properties of the two substances (Hampson et al 1998), and improvements in symptomatic insomnia (Russo et al 2007).
…when the cannabinoids and terpenoids in CBD are mixed with the isolated curcuminoids of a high-curcumin containing turmeric plant, the bioavailability of the CBD absolutely explodes. This means that if you’ve used CBD oil before in the absence of a curcuminoid blend from turmeric, you probably only felt about 1/5 to 1/10 of the actual effects of the CBD, since CBD by itself is very poorly absorbed.

The CBD oil needs to be taken twice a day everyday. The dosage depends on symptoms and it takes 30 days to awken your natural cannabis system after you begin taking the oil. I personally use Hemp works CBD oil in the 750 strength and only need 5 drops sublingual 2 times daily and results are many. Problem with oil and alz.patients is getting them to hold oil under tongue for 60 seconds. We have just began to get my dad on it. He too is in a nursing home in the state of florida and they cannot deny him any medication my mom has requested that he receive. If she is not their they are supposed to administer and she will call them to make sure he gets it. He is not 30 days into dosing yet so I don't have any results to speak of. I do know that since he has started he has had no more bladder infection and has not fallen in 3 weeks. That's a record for him so we will continue to monitor. Best of luck to you and a lot is going to depend on the state your mom is in and what the state laws are concerning her rights or the rights of whom has her medical power of attorney
A mix of THC and CBD (about 2 ½ mg of each per dose) "was approved in Canada in 2005 for treatment of central neuropathic pain in multiple sclerosis, and in 2007 for intractable cancer pain. Numerous randomized clinical trials have demonstrated safety and efficacy for … central and peripheral neuropathic pain, rheumatoid arthritis and cancer pain."
The bad news: CBD, just like any other supplement sold in the U.S., isn’t regulated. That means you can never be totally sure of the amount of CBD you’re getting. “If you and I go into a local cannabis shop, even a shop with a lot of experience of people coming in for medical reasons—unless you’re in Canada or Netherlands, where they have federally-produced drugs—we can’t trust that what’s on the label is what we’re actually getting,” Craft says. That means you could be getting more or less of CBD, as well as THC (which has its own set of side effects).
First things first, what even is CBD anyway? Well, in the simplest terms, CBD is a phytochemical, which basically just means it’s an active compound found in a plant, specifically that of the cannabis sativa plant. According to Dr. Gabrielle Francis, a naturopathic doctor, CBD actually comes from a few different plants and natural substances, and it's even produced by the human body.

THC, an intoxicating and illegal substance, is responsible for causing marijuana users to get “high.” Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive because it does not act on the same pathways as THC. Thus, it is impossible to get “high” by smoking or ingesting CBD or CBD oil extracted from industrial hemp plants, as they only have minuscule traces of THC (<0.3%).

Here’s where CBD for pain comes into play. Short for cannabidiol, CBD is a non-intoxicating compound found in the cannabis plant. Over the past decade, a growing body of evidence has found that the cannabis compound may act as a strong anti-inflammatory, reducing triggers for pain at the site of injury. However, that’s not the only superpower behind CBD for pain. The molecule may also trigger the release of feel-good neurotransmitters, which not only improve mood but may counteract negative pain signals to the brain.

As a dorky kid, I spent many a Saturday at the Bloomington, Ind., public library, scouring Consumer Reports back issues for great deals. Now, as a (much) bigger kid, that's still my job! Identifying products and services, especially in healthcare, that are safe, effective, and affordable—and highlighting those that aren't—is my top concern. Got a tip? And the products on the shelf aren't all the same, Ward said. "There can be many, many different varieties, and if you're thinking about doing this for medical reasons, you want to find a trusted source and do your research," she said. "Where does that oil come from, and how confident can you be that you know the exact percentages of the different cannabinoids in the product?"
Please note that we are not qualified to give medical advice. ur CBD oil is made from high quality hemp at 5% and has a base of extra virgin olive oil. CBD oil has less than 0.2% THC in it, that's one of the reasons why it's legal in the first place. The effects will vary from person to person, but we are receiving very good feedback from customers who have bought our oil. We always recommend to start with a small dosage and increase if you do not feel any effect.
At least one benefit of CBD is well-supported by science: It can be effective in treating children with rare, genetic seizure disorders. Adults, children and even animals with epilepsy have been shown to benefit from the chemical too, the World Health Organization reports. There's also some evidence that CBD can help with anxiety, says Dr. Robert Carson, an assistant professor of neurology and pediatrics at Vanderbilt University who focuses on children with epilepsy. "In children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders, this may manifest as improved interactions with others," he says. Other preliminary research shows CBD holds promise for conditions including Alzheimer's disease, cancer, psychosis and Parkinson's disease – and is pretty much impossible to abuse or become addicted to, WHO says.
This is just a small sample of the research showing the role that CBD plays in reducing stress and reducing anxiety. I’ve found that as little as 10mg CBD vastly lowers my anxiety at the end of the day, and have dosed with as high as 100mg CBD to be as calm as a baby during trans-Atlantic plane flights, nights sleeping in hotel rooms, and other situations where I have difficulty sleeping or tend to be stressed out. The stuff works like a charm, and saves me from having to hunt down an unhealthy, addictive alternative like valium or diazepam.
My name is Kathleen, I’m 66 years old, and I would like to share my amazing story with you how Dr. Christopher help me on how to go about with cannabis oil. On January 18, 2000, after a severe headache prompted a CAT scan, a 3cm tumor was discovered in the left frontal lobe of my brain. I was 38 years old. My two daughters were ages 15 and 12. Immediate brain surgery was recommended by my surgeon. However, after further discussion, due to slow growth and no adjacent edema, he felt it would not be negligent to postpone surgery and monitor the tumor every 3 months with an MRI. The tumor remained stable for a little over three years then suddenly grew 25%.

That headache study cites research linking CBD to lower rates of anxiety. (Since anxiety often produces headaches, the authors say, CBD could be a plausible headache remedy if those anti-anxiety benefits are legit.) Grant says he’s looked at the literature on CBD and anxiety, and some of it is enticing. He mentions a Brazilian study, for instance, that found people with a fear of public speaking felt less anxiety and less discomfort about their phobia after taking CBD, compared to those who took a placebo.

There are two main advantages to vaping: one, it makes CBD accessible over the course of your entire day, allowing you to control your dosage better than with food or a capsule. Second, vaping is efficient; it allows CBD to enter your bloodstream faster by skipping the digestive process. This means you’ll feel the effects much faster and with a smaller amount of CBD.
I started using marijuana as a teen. The main reason that kept me using it was the fact that it made my stomach stop hurting. I thought I just had anxiety problems or an ulcer. I have no Idea It’s one of the reason that supress the pain I feel after I read this article from http://www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/cbd-in-medic…. Since reading is not my thing back then.
I introduced Vanilla Pure Kana CBD Oil to my girlfriend who gets tensions in her neck and shoulders and also suffers from migraines which causes pain/blurry vision in her eyes, nausea, and numbness at the end points of her body. Since then she has taken CBD oil which has made a drastic difference. It has relieved so much tension and pain and has prevented migraines. I personally use CBD oil to help improve the regeneration of my body between workouts. I feel looser, and my workouts have improved since utilizing the PureKana CBD oil. Definitely a game changer. Shout out to Jeff for the recommendation, can’t thank you enough brotha!

i have seen post and i have seen people going through a lot of things cause of a stigma that one doesn’t pray for but all thanks to little help i got from Dr Moises Nieto Farino who saw me through pains and make me understand that nothing is to impossible for God to do. now she is well and started her life over again at a point of breaking down. i still cant say much but God know that i am so happy I know I can’t make her stop, I have tried. I realize from reading other peoples posts that I really need to get myself some help, I have paid $10,000. of thousands to get her help and to pay for her life and yet, here I am, depressed and so stressed about something that I am failing to fix. As a mother that is so painful. Alcohol addiction is a terrible thing. It robs people of their lives really. It often feels to me that I am watching her, very slowly, killing herself. Taking me with her too. After I finish writing this I am going to book my self an appointment with a good therapist and try to find perhaps an AA meeting. I have to do something . ThanK YOU Dr Moises Nieto Farino. FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP AND ASISTANNCE TO HELP HER REGAIN ALL SHE LEFT BEHIND. YOU COULD CONTACT Dr Moises Nieto Farino FOR SOME PERSONAL COUNSELING OR FAMILY COUSELING.(CONTACT INFO…moisesfarino112@gmail.com
Of course, though, they offer less potent oils than that, with a product lineup that ranges from 300 mg CBD per bottle to 4,000 mg. Naturally the 4,000 mg option is the most expensive (this is the one that provides the “bomb” 60 mg dose), as it currently sells for $299. For long-term pain and anxiety relief, though, it may be well worth it if it is effective for you and helps replace your regular meds.

I’m in need of CBD products as my husband is suffering with prostate cancer which is seemingly incurable – we have tried a range of things to either slow down the process or prevent some of the pain – we’re still putting up with his frequent radiation and hormone treatment but that isn’t always the best route to go down. I stumbled across the uses of CBD and have been reading articles like this to help me understand what is is that I’m trying to buy.
Cannabis flavonoids in whole cannabis extracts may also contribute useful activity (McPartland and Russo 2001). Apigenin inhibits TNF-α (Gerritsen et al 1995), a mechanism germane to multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Cannflavin A, a flavone unique to cannabis, inhibits PGE-2 thirty times more potently than aspirin (Barrett et al 1986), but has not been subsequently investigated.

Verified CBD has been making seed-to-sale CBD oil in Florida since 2014, yet they’ve stayed a 100% in-house operation over that entire period of time: to this day, the only place you can buy their products is directly through their website. This is a real advantage in today’s market, where it can be super tough trying to distinguish between actual CBD manufacturers, and shady brokers or private labelers.

Among the company’s many offerings is Real Scientific Hemp Oil, which it sells through its subsidiary HempMedsPx, also based in Poway. On its web site, HempMedsPx describes how its hemp “is grown in northern European microclimates, without the use of any pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.” The company promises that it “continuously scrutinizes and improves the processes to meet all regulations and exceeds quality standards.”

Other additives to avoid: polyethylene glycol (another thinning agent) and, in general, flavoring agents, especially cream and cinnamon flavors as these are very toxic and should never be heated and inhaled. Look for cartridges that contain only natural, cannabis-derived terpenes. That means that the flavor of your vape cartridge came directly from the cannabis flower from which it was extracted.
There are many studies that support hemp oil’s pain-relieving claim. Scientists from the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda (US), for example, showed that cannabinoids can suppress inflammatory and neuropathic pain without causing analgesic tolerance (increased tolerance that commonly occurs when taking opioids, meaning users are required to increase their doses). As if chronic pain weren’t devastating enough on its own, pain conditions can wreak havoc on mental health. Anxiety is one of the most common side effects that accompanies pain, making it difficult to enjoy daily activities and time with others. Fortunately, Select CBD has formulated an excellent product that contains both pain-fighting and stress-relieving botanicals.

But the CBD oil use that might be most intriguing—and could perhaps be the biggest game-changer—is for pain relief. As the United States grapples with the opioid epidemic and struggles to treat the 50 million plus Americans who struggle with chronic pain, CBD oil has emerged as a nonaddictive alternative that people are applying as a topical oil, ingesting as a pill, or smoking through a vape pen.

The evidence is rapidly stacking up on the healing properties of the Marijuana plant. I’m excited for the future of Medical Marijuana and I feel a strong responsibility to spread this information. I hear so many misconceptions about this amazing medicinal plant that I feel i need to tell my story to anyone who is interested and my prayer is that it will be received with an open mind and a compassionate heart.

VerifiedCBD has been in the business since 2014, shipping their CBD goods worldwide. Proudly made in Florida, their CBD oil is considered one of the best Cannabidiol-infused products for pain. Plus, the company is very open about their activity. Although they don’t share much information on their official website, the staff will be happy to answer all your questions once you send them a message.

My mother has dementia/Alzheimers along with a broken knee that they will not repair do to her mental status. She is currently in a nursing home. I firmly believe her mental situation began with the over use of hydrocodone for over 30 years and was acerbated by the trauma of breaking and disconnecting her knee cap. Since weaning her off of her meds (still in progress) we have regained much of her consciousness. I want to try CBD to help in her recovery or to help slow down the disease. I cannot find a dosage recommendation plus the nursing home/doctor does not recommend it. I would need to give it to her when I am there visiting (about 3 - 4 times per week). Is there a recommended dosage for dementia/Alzheimers?
We have 20 lb dog that is an idopathic epileptic. He is currently on Keppra (375 mg three times daily) and phenobarbital (32.4 mg two times daily). We have CBD oil and want to use it. We have seen many documentaries and articles of it’s positive effects on epilepsy. One thing always seems to be missing is the dosage level. What dosage level should be used for a 20 lb dog and how often? We believe in this, but don’t know how to administer it correctly.
Check out this video. After a brutal bout against UFC legend Conor McGregor, a bloodied up Nate Diaz is seen vaping in a press conference. He claims, “It’s CBD. It helps with healing process and inflammation.” Nate might not have rheumatoid arthritis, but if anyone can attest to the pain relief properties of CBD, it’s a bruised and broken man after a battle with one of the world’s most notorious fighters.

I’ve been using purekana for 2 months. They make a good quality product. Much better than other oils I’ve tried. In regards to the amount, Adam is right. I tried the 300mg and the 600mg. I found that the 300mg was enough for me, but I do think it depends on your condition, finances and how it effects your body. Which ever you decide to use, stay healthy.

In an interview with the Herald Times Online, Dr. Gary Gettelfinger, who practices out of the Indiana University Health Pain Center, said he is thrilled with Indiana’s new law allowing CBD to be legally sold in Indiana. “I’m excited for my patients,” Gettelfinger said. “The fact of the matter is, (CBD) is working, and nothing good ever came without a fight.”
Good morning! Reading through your article, I'm completely impressed and thinking of the various clinical applications (that depressed patient, that anxious one, my arthritic knees!) for the CBD's. THEN you talk about your product, the combination of co-factors sounding really great, but the nano-particles alarm me. There is a fair amount of research about the hazards of nano-particles in cleaning and cosmetic products, I'm wary of ingesting them for fear of nano-sized items going afield of where I'm intending them to go.

My Father passed away from Alzheimer’s. I wish I had known about this then. I said the whole time I wish I could talk “the retired fireman/veteran all around good guy” into smoking weed. I would have tried anything Alzheimer’s doesn’t play fair and nothing his Doctor prescribed ever helped or change symptoms for very long. He was anxious and regardless of what the dr’s said he was scared for two years until the very end when he given so much morphine he couldnt wake up anymore. TRY IT!

I have lower back pain with some arthritis and arthritis in my hands.ive recently tried CBD Oil. It really does work. I have the drops and ointment. They both work. Because of the back pain I never would have been able to go on a hike with my family. We had a lot of fun. And "No Pain", all day. I'm also Type 2 diabetic. Anxious to see what my A1C is next month. I'm a believer.

Also, they are the only CBD company that we know of that offers terpene extracts from some of the most classic and therapeutically effective cannabis strains of all time. For example you can select terpene profiles from Jack Herer, Harlequin, Pineapple Express, Durban Poison, OG Kush, and several other strains to get that classic flavor of pure, raw cannabis flower.

For kids with severe forms of epilepsy, changes in medication levels can be extremely dangerous. “If their levels go low, they’re at increased risk of seizures, which could lead to an emergency room visit or an ICU stay,” Knupp said. “On the other hand, if their levels go high, their side effects can increase dramatically.” Side effects from epilepsy medications can range anywhere from drowsiness to vomiting to heart arrhythmia, Knupp noted. “For some people that could mean a minor inconvenience, but for some patients it could be life-threatening.”

Concerns are frequently noted with new drug-drug interactions, but few have resulted in Sativex RCTs despite its adjunctive use with opiates, many other psychoactive analgesic, antidepressant and anticonvulsant drugs (Russo 2006a), possibly due to CBD ability to counteract sedative effects of THC (Nicholson et al 2004). No effects of THC extract, CBD extract or Sativex were observed in a study of effects on the hepatic cytochrome P450 complex (Stott et al 2005b). On additional study, at 314 ng/ml cannabinoid concentration, Sativex and components produced no significant induction on human CYP450 (Stott et al 2007). Thus, Sativex should be safe to use in conjunction with other drugs metabolized via this pathway.
People claim that cannabis oil can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, though evidence to back up these claims is often lacking. For example, according to Medical News Today, people use cannabis oil for conditions ranging from pain to acne; some even claim the oil can cure diseases like Alzheimer's and cancer. (But again, there is no clinical evidence to support these claims.)
This is a good but tricky question. Every person will need to find out for themselves how much CBD to take. There is no one-answer-fits-all. The response to how much CBD should I take is subjective. This is because it depends on what you are hoping for the outcome to be. If it is for general health, the amount of CBD mg will be less than if you are trying to deal with an issue.
Please note, I am not an addict and have a several genotypes with specific alleles that prevent the the high but get all the benefits from pain relief. Cool for me, but the “Dr.s” want to keep sticking me will steriods. My autoimmune system is now completely compromised from all the steroids. My other pain I can deal with (just barely now) but the RLS/RAS is literally driving me insane.
I had a bad experience buying from Pure Kana. No confirmation email. No shipping confirmation. It took over 10 days for them to ship. And their oil tasted like it had been tainted with perfume. Not the taste I’ve come to know from other companies(the natural flavor). And it did not work. Also, conflicting info about them. First, I read they were located in LA, Ca, then UK owned, but was finally shipped from NJ. Just BEWARE.
Instead, CBD acts as an agonist on an entirely different receptor called the 5-HT1A receptor, and this is how CBD actually works as an antidepressant with anti-anxiety and neuroprotective effects. It also serves as what is called an “allosteric modulator” of your opioid receptors, which is how it works to remove pain and reduce the effects of chronic inflammation. Other positive medical effects of CBD (there’s over 60 of them, if you care to read up on them here) are due to increased intracellular calcium release and agonism of another receptor called the PPAR-γ receptor.
Still, for many, cannabis has become a tonic to dull pain, aid sleep, stimulate appetite, buffer life’s thumps and shocks. Pot’s champions say it peels back layers of stress. It’s also thought to be useful as, among other things, an analgesic, an antiemetic, a bronchodilator, and an anti-inflammatory. It’s even been found to help cure a bad case of the hiccups. Compounds in the plant, some scientists contend, may help the body regulate vital functions—such as protecting the brain against trauma, boosting the immune system, and aiding in “memory extinction” after catastrophic events.
Nonetheless, when it comes to CBD oil and cannabidiol, people seem be getting more aware of the fact that you don’t need to be a pothead to get all the relaxing and hormone and metabolism-balancing properties of weed. Not that the image below is based on hard scientific epidemiological data, but a quick glance at a Google trends profile of searches for “CBD Oil” speaks volumes, doesn’t it?
Whether the chronic pain is in your back, neck, hands, feet, or elsewhere – CBD can help! In order to understand how CBD helps provide pain relief, we turn to a series of medical studies that have been conducted over the past ten years. These studies evaluated CBD’s medical efficacy in treating those who suffer from various types of pain. We will address the results below.

I am in Santiago, Chile and have bought Cannabis oil here. It is my first time to try it. I am awaiting shipment from U.S. of CBD oil products. I am using the oil to ally my rather constant low level anxiety that sometimes goes near panic as well as chronic sleeplessness. I have been dealing with this challenge for many years without resorting to standard “Harmapheuticals”. It is my hope the oils will calm me and bring me sleep. I have been trying these local oils for past four days without too much in the way of calming effects. I am taking around 30ml of the oil without real positive results. Do you suppose I may have to go to dosage over 100ml a day to get results? I realize you can not give medical advice nor am I asking for it–but if you can give me general directions it would be very helpful. Thanks, Jack in Chile.
I have had RA for 21 yrs. This is the only product that I actually see, with my own eyes daily, my arthritic nodules shrinking big time. OMGosh, within 18 hours of taking the tendon nodules on my right wrist were GONE! o more need for wrist braces I have needed for years. I have friends that are experiencing great results to for fibromyalsia and chronic back pain!
Despite that, he’s not particularly in favor of legalizing cannabis for recreational use. Exogenous (plant-based) cannabinoids have been demonstrated to be effective in a range of experimental neuropathic pain models, and there is mounting evidence for therapeutic use in human neuropathic pain conditions.”
THC is omnipresent, but CBD has been historically more difficult to come across. However, in the contemporary golden age of cannabis culture (assuming you live in a state with legal medical and/or recreational marijuana), CBD is readily available to be vaped, smoked, applied topically, or taken (as folks have been doing for centuries) as a tincture. Here are a few tips to get your feet wet in the lovely world of CBD:

One of the brand’s biggest claims is their “accessibility” in terms of price, and indeed these are some of the best cheap CBD oils on the market. Lazarus tinctures used to be isolate-only, meaning they contained nothing in the blend except for the fractionated coconut oil and the active CBD compound. Recently, however, they have introduced a complete line of full-spectrum products to go along with their original isolate formula.
